Kelowna: The Kelowna Chamber of Commerce announces its annual call for nominations to its volunteer board of directors. Nominations close Thursday February 1, 2024 at 4:30p.m., followed by the electronic election of directors by members prior to the Chamber’s AGM March 28.

Pamela Pearson, Past Chamber Chair says, “As always, we look to strengthen the Board’s multiple skill sets. This ensures the Chamber’s long-term health and success, and sets the tone for organizational effectiveness, innovation and vision, alongside our focus on equity, diversity and inclusion. Our directors are a reflection of our business community: engaged, forward-thinking, professional, and reflect the wide range of Kelowna’s ever-growing business and community organizations.”

Dan Price, current Board Chair, seconds Pearson’s words. “I’ve broadened my understanding of local needs and issues, and made lots of new community connections. Those relationships will last long after my term is over. Being Chair is a great job.”

Chamber directors are volunteers from diverse professional backgrounds who establish the strategic direction for the organization in accordance with its bylaws.
