The Trade Accelerator Program (TAP) is an innovative initiative designed to accelerate the strategic development of your business and better prepare you for expansion into international markets. In partnership with the World Trade Centre and through the Vancouver Board of Trade, we're launching the TAP BC Interior Cohort 2024. 

No other program offers a comprehensive program like this. TAP is a one-stop-shop that will get businesses ready to go global in a few sessions, culminating with a customized strategic export business plan for your business - vetted by top industry experts. A learning platform specifically built around practical tips and practices for international selling distinguishes TAP as the benchmark program for entrepreneurs interested in exporting. The Trade Accelerator Program BC Interior Cohort starts in April and is tailored specifically for small to medium sized companies. The program -- originally priced at $5,000 -- offers bursaries to qualifying companies. Just six months after graduating, participants reported average export growth of 75% with a 48% increase in hiring capacity.

Program Dates

• Application Deadline: March 28, 2024
• Hybrid Workshop Days: April 10, 11, 17
• Virtual Mentorship Days: May 15, 16

TAP Eligibility Criteria

• Incorporated and operating in British Columbia for at least two years;
• Generate $300,000 or more in revenue;
• Designate one or two senior representatives to participate in the program;
• Comply with the program deliverables
