On a spectacular golf day at the Okanagan Golf Club the Kelowna Chamber took advantage of its 120th Anniversary Year by hosting its 41st annual golf tournament at two courses in one day: The Bear and The Quail courses.

253 golfers teed off simultaneously and spent the next few hours chasing the ball, networking, and enjoying the hole-by-hole sponsors’ welcoming games and goodies as the afternoon unfolded.

Patrick Bobyn, President of the Chamber, was part of the golfing contingent in a Pushor Mitchell foursome. “This tournament continues to be one of the Chamber’s flagship events, and in our 120th year it was incredible to see it grow to twice the size, played across two courses. It was a fantastic day on the links, and we’re truly grateful to our sponsors, members, and volunteers for their support and energy in making this event so special.”

Satvir Panesar, CFO of Canco Petroleum, the tournament’s presenting sponsor said, “We’re thrilled to be part of the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament this year. It’s an incredible event that brings together so many businesses, leaders and organizations who care deeply about this community. Congratulations to the Chamber on expanding the tournament to the Okanagan Golf Club—an exciting milestone that reflects the continued growth and enthusiasm around this event.”

“At Canco, we believe strong communities are built through connection and support, and we’re proud to stand behind Kelowna. We will continue to fuel this city, one tank at a time."

In an on-course initiative, Meals on Wheels raised $2,200 in their 50/50 draw, conducted throughout the day over the two courses. MOW provides 20,000 meals annually in the community.
