Year Seven of Program Sees Over 40s Honoured

Kelowna: The enduringly popular “Top 40” Program presented by BDO LLP through the Kelowna Chamber is relaunching in January 2021. “The program is providing a ray of sunshine in the grey month of January,” says Jeffrey Robinson, Chamber President. “There is no question that the more seasoned business leaders in the community who have spent the last many years building up successful businesses, and as well, contributing as entrepreneurs to our growing community, will feature as stars as we continue to recover from the pandemic impacts on business locally.”

Mike Gilmore, Office Managing Partner, BDO Canada LLP echoes Robinson’s sentiments. “BDO looks forward every year to working with the Kelowna Chamber in presenting this program. As business in Kelowna continues to expand, even with the severe impacts of COVID-19, we know that the skills and experience of the “Over 40s” will be of critical importance in seeing us through. We consider this program one of the stellar community sponsorships of our local BDO office.”

Nominees will be evaluated on pre-determined criteria by an independent judging panel. Two recipients will be feature across a range of media: print, online, digital, radio – on a weekly basis from late January to the end of June.

A wrap-up celebration will recognize all 40 Honourees in mid-summer.
