Online voting is conducted by the Kelowna Chamber between February 3 (noon) - February 8 (noon), 2026 by electronic ballot sent to each member in good standing. All members receive an email with a voting link to their primary contact.
Members, if you have not done so recently, please ensure your contact information is up to date by logging into the membership portal. Unsure how? Haven't received an electronic ballot? Contact us.
The Board Governance Committee is responsible for reviewing all applications to ensure they are in accordance with the bylaws and policies of the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce. The Committee further reviews the guidelines using a skills matrix that identify the desired skills and/or experience that the Board seeks to maintain over time. Following the review, the Committee identifies applicants whose skills fill the gaps left by departing directors. Once a slate of candidates has been identified, they are then recommended to the membership. For more information on this process, please contact the Chamber office.
The recommended candidates for our 2026-2027 Board of Directors are noted on the electronic ballot with (RECOMMENDED) beside their name. Those who are an incumbent director seeking re-election are further identified with (I) beside their name. It is important to note that while the Board has recommended a slate, members can vote for any candidate of their choosing and can vote for up to eleven (11) Directors.
Members directly elect three (3) officers (Chair, Vice-Chair, and Secretary) along with 11 Directors. Officers for the 2026-2027 election have been elected by acclamation and include Patrick Bobyn (Chair-elect), and Treena Piva (Vice-Chair-elect) & Laurel Hogg (Secretary-elect).
All candidates seeking a Director position are listed below in alphabetical order by surname. Biographical information was submitted with their application, and is presented here unedited.
