Welcome to new Kelowna Chamber member Naughty Girl Essentials Lingerie! Founded by Michelle Korchinski in 2011, when she felt body shamed and disheartened after going into a Victoria’s Secret but couldn’t find anything in her size. She started sourcing lingerie from little-known brands as well as making her own, in sizes ranging from XS to 6XL.

This started a journey of research into the intimate apparel industry, where Michelle quickly learned that women's challenges in finding well-fitting undergarments were being ignored. Armed with a purpose and a passion to help women around the world feel empowered with their selection, Naughty Girl Essentials was opened.

They are a proud supporter of Free the Girls, a non-profit that aids women and children out of isolation and poverty that leads to human trafficking. “As of 2022, we had donated over 2,500 bras to Free the Girls.” says Michelle, “Thanks to our clients and the community, women across the world can start their own businesses, and have access to counseling, education, and support”.

Visit their store and bra drop-off location for new or gently worn bras at 1619 Ellis Street downtown Kelowna.

They are also expanding their team and taking applications in-store for a part-time person.

Michelle and her team have partnered with Vic & Jo Tea Co. for a March Into Spring Tea on Thurs. 23 March to bring awareness and donations to Free the Girls. The event is also to help celebrate their twelfth year in business.
