The Kelowna Chamber of Commerce is hosting all-candidates forums for the electoral ridings of Kelowna - Mission, Kelowna - Lake Country - Coldstream, and Kelowna - Centre. These ticketed breakfast sessions are open to the public.

All registered candidates in each riding have been invited to these forums, and each forum has a moderator. There will be opportunity to submit questions to the candidates.

We encourage you to read about the candidates, learn about their platforms, and become familiar with the pressing issues in your riding and our province. Ensure you are registered to vote, review the ways to vote, verify you have the appropriate voter ID, find your voting location, and schedule time to exercise this right.

This information about the provincial election comes from Elections BC, a non-partisan office of the Legislature. The list of candidates, including political party affiliations, will be finalized after the close of nominations on September 28, 2024.

Moderator: Chris Walker, CBC Radio

Chris Walker is a veteran broadcaster known for his engaging interview style. Originally from Galiano Island off the BC coast, he has covered the BC Interior for almost 20 years, and has lived in Kelowna since 2010. He holds a graduate degree in journalism from Carleton University in Ottawa, and has won national awards for feature reporting and commentary.

Moderator: Sarah Penton, CBC Radio

Sarah Penton is the host of CBC Radio One’s Radio West and joins the team from CBC Winnipeg, where she has been a familiar face for the past 15 years. She is no stranger to British Columbia, born in Nelson and raised in Williams Lake and Metro Vancouver, her home and her heart has always been in B.C. Sarah has an extensive background in news and is a popular radio news presenter, reporter and producer.
