KELOWNA CHAMBER ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD FOR 2021

Kelowna: Six new faces will be joining the Kelowna Chamber Board as its Annual General Meeting draws near.  Chamber President Jeffrey Robinson today announced the new Board of Directors for the Chamber for the coming year, following the conclusion of online voting earlier this week.

Directors will be ratified at the AGM being held online at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday March 23, 2021 prior to the State of the City address by Mayor Colin Basran which begins at noon.

Members voted for thirteen Directors who join the three table officers who were elected by acclamation, plus five additional appointees making it a twenty-one member board.  All returning incumbents were re-elected.   The six new faces on the Board are:

  • Patrick Bobyn, Pushor Mitchell LLP

  • Treena Carson-Piva, Real Property Management

  • Dennis Keenan, Rogers Communications/Rogers for Business

  • Stewart Parke, Parke Pacific Projects

  • Marina Warrender, KPMG

  • Chris Wills, Venture Commercial Realty

President Jeffrey Robinson, on announcing the Board, said “Our two key messages as we introduce this new Board to our members are ensuring stability and capacity for the Chamber.  We need increased capacity to strengthen the Chamber as it prepares to accelerate growth coming out of the pandemic; and we have safeguarded stability through a return of the table officers.”

Dan Price of Dilworth Homes returns as Vice President, Pamela Pearson of Sentes Automotive keeps the Secretary position and Nikki Csek of Now Media Group will continue as Past President for one more year.
