The Kelowna Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that the Board of the Chamber has engaged long-time Chamber member and supporter, Ken Bessason as Interim Executive Director.

Bessason has agreed to fill the position while the Chamber recruits a full-time, permanent incumbent to the position, which has been vacant since the first of the year.

Ken has experience with the Kelowna Chamber, first as an elected Director between 2000 and 2006, during which time, he filled the role of President in his 2004 term.  Ken also stepped in as Interim Executive Director twelve years ago, when the position was open for three months.

Additionally, Ken has sat as a Judge for the Chamber’s Business Excellence Awards for several years, and is very familiar with a large number of current Chamber businesses.

The Chamber, says Tom Dyas, President of the Board, “is very fortunate to have Ken join our team right now, and assist us as 2017 unfolds.”
